Email follow-up assistant

Stop holding every follow-up in your head.

You send the email, you mean to chase it, then it slips your mind. Forco is the layer that remembers. CC followup@forco.ai, forward a cold thread, or just loop it in. Forco follows up at the right time and stops the moment the job is done.

The problem

Work that lives in email has no accountability layer.

You ask three people for an update. None reply. A week later you are the bottleneck. The proposal you sent ten days ago needs a nudge. You meant to chase it. You forgot.

Forco is that layer.

Ways to use it

Hand it off however you work.

There's no one way to put Forco on a follow-up. However it lands in your lap, there's a natural way to pass it over. No new habit to learn.

Cc

CC it on a live thread

Sending an email you'll need a reply to? Drop followup@forco.ai in the Cc field. Forco starts watching the moment you hit send.

Fwd

Forward a thread that went cold

Dug up an old thread nobody answered? Forward it to Forco with "chase this up" and it picks the loop back up from where it stalled.

FYI

Loop it in mid-thread

Already going back and forth? Add Forco and tell it what you want in plain English. "FYI @forco, nudge them if no reply by Friday."

Bcc

BCC it to keep things quiet

Don't want the other side to see Forco on the thread? BCC instead of CC. Same tracking, same follow-ups, invisible to them.

What Forco does

A teammate that lives in your CC field.

Four things, done well. No dashboard to learn. No new app to install.

CC and forget

Add Forco to any thread.
That is the setup.

Drop followup@forco.ai on a single line in the CC field. Forco reads the thread, picks up the commitment, and waits for the reply. No onboarding, no integrations, no permissions popup.

  • Works in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, anything
  • No browser extension, no app to install
  • Setup time: zero. You already did it by reading this

You stay in control

Forco asks before
sending anything outbound.

Every email Forco sends to someone else is shown to you first. Approve in one click, edit the wording, or kill the send. Nothing leaves your name without your nod.

  • Plain-English plan before any outbound send
  • Edit the draft, change the timing, or cancel
  • Auto-approve only what you explicitly allow

Spanish reply.

If the thread is in Spanish, French, Portuguese, or any other language Forco supports, the follow-up goes out in that language. No setting to flip. No translator to install. It just matches the conversation.

  • Detects the language of the thread automatically
  • Matches tone. Formal vs casual, business vs friendly
  • Works on 40+ languages including non-Latin scripts

Knows when to stop

The moment the loop closes,
Forco is done.

The other side replies. The decision lands. The deal closes. Forco notices, cancels the next nudge, and tells you it's wrapped. No nagging. No awkward "just following up" after the issue is already solved.

And for the times it can't see the reply, like when someone sorts it offline or writes back to you but doesn't loop Forco in, every reminder carries a one-tap "already handled" link. One click from them and Forco backs off for good. Nobody gets chased twice.

  • Detects resolution from reply content, not just any reply
  • One-tap "already handled" link on every reminder. A polite exit for the recipient
  • Auto-cancels scheduled follow-ups
  • Sends you a quiet "this one's done" notification

From the founder

Built on threads I was dropping myself.

Forco started as a tool I built for one inbox: mine. Proposals I'd sent, quotes I was waiting on, vendors I owed a reply to — all sitting in the same place, all easy to miss. Reminders and to-do apps never stuck, because the context lived in the email, not in the reminder.

I've spent twenty years building software, and the thing I needed didn't exist: an assistant that just lives in my CC field, remembers the loop, and chases it for me, without ever sending anything in my name that I hadn't seen first.

So that's the promise to early members: you approve every outbound email, we only read the threads you add us to, and you can walk away whenever you like. We'd rather earn your trust slowly than fake it.

Frequently asked

The questions everyone asks.

What is AI email follow-up?

It's a small AI assistant that lives at an email address. You CC it on a thread, or forward it one that went cold, and it remembers the loop you'd otherwise drop. When the time comes, it drafts the chase, shows it to you, and sends it on your approval. The moment the other side replies and the loop closes, it stops.

Why is AI email follow-up useful?

Because the work that lives in email — proposals, quotes, supplier orders, client questions — has no accountability layer. You meant to chase it. You forgot. AI follow-up is the layer that doesn't forget. It carries the context of the thread, picks the right moment, and writes the nudge in your voice so the recipient sees a normal, polite email — not a generic reminder.

How do people actually use it?

Sales reps chase proposals and quotes. Founders nudge investors and suppliers. Bookkeepers chase invoices. Project managers chase blockers across a team. Recruiters chase candidates between interview stages. The common thread: anywhere a reply matters and a human in the middle has been dropping the ball. See use cases for the full picture.

What counts as a "follow-up"?

One outbound message Forco sends on your behalf. A reminder, a chase, the next step in a sequence. Inbound replies don't count. Drafts you approve but never send don't count.

What happens if I hit the free limit?

Forco keeps running every follow-up that is already in flight. New ones pause until the next month, or until you upgrade.

Does Forco read my whole inbox?

No. Forco only reads threads you explicitly add it to by CC. Nothing else in your inbox is touched. You can revoke access in one click.

Will it send weird AI emails without my permission?

No. The first time Forco wants to send anything to another person, it asks you. You approve, edit, or cancel. Auto-approve is opt-in, per template, and you control it.

What if the other person replies? Does Forco keep sending?

No. The moment a reply lands, Forco cancels any scheduled follow-ups and lets you know the loop is closed.

Which email providers does it work with?

Anything. Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, ProtonMail, Fastmail, your own SMTP. Forco lives at an email address. If you can send mail to it, it works.

How is this different from a calendar reminder?

A reminder pings you. Forco does the work. It drafts the follow-up, sends it (after you approve), and watches for the reply, then stops on its own.

Where does the follow-up come from? My email or yours?

Ours. The reminder is sent from Forco's email infrastructure, not from your inbox, and we never read or send from your inbox at all. What the recipient sees, though, is your name in the From line — so the email feels like it came from you, in your voice. You set your display name in your settings; the sending address is Forco's. Replies come back to you the normal way.

What if I want to cancel a follow-up halfway through?

Every email Forco sends you about a thread has a "stop this follow-up" link. One click and the loop is closed. You can also reply with "cancel" or manage everything from the app.

How does Forco decide when to send the next nudge?

From the instruction you gave it. "Chase by Friday 5pm." "Try again in three days." "Send a final nudge a week later." If you didn't say, Forco picks a sensible default and tells you the timing in the plan, which you can edit before approving.

Do you train AI models on my emails?

No. We don't train on your content, and the AI providers we use (Anthropic, OpenAI) don't either when accessed through their API.
